WHAT WE DO

Rescue And Rehabilitation

MARC primarily believes in reducing man-animal conflicts in the urban landscape. Such conflicts disturb both humans and animals and in most cases it is detrimental for urban wildlife. Urban wildlife, generally, is a neglected part of our ecosystem having a significant role in our lives. Therefore there is a need for conscious individuals to step up as a team.

  • We are lucky to have a big fraternity of wildlife enthusiasts of which 15 members are scientifically trained to handle wildlife in stress. Since MARC’s formation in 2015, interacting with the general public and by sensitizing the importance of wildlife conservation, we had achieved a stand where people do not kill snakes or harm other wildlife around them rather they call us for help. Our active members volunteer their time, 24×7, to help those who approach us.
  • To achieve the goals that we have in mind, we need more resources. Basically these include gathering funds for travel allowance for rescuers, medical needs, food for animals under rehabilitation. Finally, we aim at establishing a scientific and stress free rehabilitation facility for sick and injured wildlife.
